Helping Hand Turkana Ato (HHTA) is an indigenous community-based non-profit organization established to address the critical challenges faced by children, youth, and women in Northern Kenya. Founded on 15th September 2016, HHTA was formed by a group of 27 dedicated youth members 12 women and 15 men who united under a common cause: to uplift and empower vulnerable populations within their community.
Our mission is to promote Fundamental Children’s rights, Food Security and Environmental Conservation, Sexual and reproduction health rights, and sustainable development in the Community,advocacy, training, and Involvement of Children, Youth, and women in improving their social well-being in the community

Children: To provide healthy personality development, Vocational Skills, and professional development for sustainability.
Women: Identifying the poor child mothers and women and women and providing income-generating activities to them through the formation of self-help groups and adopting family planning & welfare programs relating opportunities in various vocational fields by providing training in the respect fields for sustainability as their own.
Youth: To prevent the youth from participating in anti-social activities. Provide Sexual Reproductive Health education as well as career guidance to the youth. Provide Vocational training to the skilled persons. Fixing the targets to the youth for their future life. Counsel and motivate them to achieve their targets.Upgradation of the skills for the skilled workers with the latest technology.Creating self-employment opportunities.Engaging the youth in the work nature and keep away from the idleness.Creating the youth as a role model to the future generation.Involving them in the welfare activities and implementing the Government policies.Preventing the youth from drug addiction.Creating awareness for the youth on Chronic diseases like HIV/AIDS etc.
